VETERANS

The Sunraysia and District Victorian Veteran Golfers Association is an associate member of the Victorian Veteran Golfers Association.
Last month there were 13 visitors who, as members of veteran associations from around Australia, were eligible to compete at our local event.
This group of grey nomads consisted of members from Queensland, Western Australia and New South Wales who are travelling Australia on a golfing holiday.
Our members enjoy reciprocal rights, in that they can play any veteran event anywhere in the country.
We have had members compete in the teams event held recently in Bendigo and the district was able to host a state wide event in May this year.
There was also an Australian Championships held in the Riverland last month.
On top of that there is 10 monthly events held at six district clubs throughout the year.
