VETERANS

FOR the third time this year the Mildura Golf Resort will be hosting a district veteran golfers event which is on July 3 for the Country Hearing Care Championship stroke round.

Players must be a members of the association and have played twice in district Veterans events during the past twelve months to qualify. The competition will determine the overall champion and the A and B Grade Scratch and Handicap winners.

Players will need to check that their GA handicap is up to date. As usual there are NTPs on all par threes, thanks to Australian Vintage Wines.

Members are reminded to wear their badges to help with registration which starts at 8.30am and gives you a chance of winning a golf ball in the raffle.

Those needing to hire a cart are advised to contact the pro shop prior to the day. New players are invited to join up when registering. The course is in great condition and the club offers a great lunch.

With the added bonus of being the championship event, the day is popular and a good field is expected. We hope you can make it and be part of a challenging and enjoyable golf game.
