VETERANS
The district veteran golfers association is once again expecting a good field at its event on Monday, April 3. Following on from last month the players will be returning to the Mildura Golf Resort but this time to participate in a single Stableford event. With the expectation of great weather and with the course in excellent condition the day promises to be successful. Start time is 8.30am. Players are reminded to pre-book their carts by contacting the pro shop. All members are also advised to check their handicap beforehand using their GA handicap by going on the Golf Australia website or alternatively referring to the charts on the pro shop window.
Existing members should also remember to wear their badge as this is increasingly important with so many new members. It will also mean that you will be eligible to win a golf ball in the raffle. New members from last month will be issued with their badge and these can be collected from the registration table located near the front of the club house.
Any first time players are most welcome. Please introduce yourself when registration occurs and we will ensure that you are looked after.
There are lots of good reasons to come along to enjoy a great days golf, share a meal, a drink and chat with district colleagues. See you there.
