A MEDLEY Stableford was played on Wednesday, November 30. In A Grade Michael Baynes had 37 points to win from Trevor Williams on 36 points. Neil Wilkie had a day out in B Grade with 41 points to win from Sue Johns on 38 points and in C Grade Geoff Smith had 34 points to win from Kaylene Geddes on 32 points.
Balls: 32-37 points (20).

On Saturday the Monthly Medal was played and John Prictor won A Grade with a great 67 net from Jeff Scott on 69 net. Brett Overton had 70 net to win B Grade from Don Fiorillo on 71 net and in C Grade I. Doering had 75 net to win from Rita Chase who had 77 net.

MILDURA
THE Veterans played Stableford on Monday, November 28 and the winner was Ross Bowen (9) with 40 points from runner-up Steve Peters (26) with 39 points and third place went to David Lloyd (13) with 38 points.
Balls: four balls and 37 points or better collected.
NTPs: 12th –Neil Bryant 145cm.
Ladies Tuesday 9 played on November 29 was won by Margaret McGlashan (18) with 19 points from runner-up Dora Stewart (20) with 18 points.
NTP: 12th Zilzie Wines – Dora Stewart 510cm.
On November 30 the men played a single Stableford with 120 players taking to the course on a beautiful spring day.
A Grade winner was Geoff Hazeldine (8) with 39 points from runner-up Aaron Blake (3) with 37 points and a thirrd place mention to Rob Toms (3) who had 36 points.
B Grade winner was Bruce Dickie (12) with 39 points from runner-up Doug Matthews (15) with 37 points and third placed Malcolm Kalms (13) with 35 points.
C Grade winner was Steve Peters (25) with 39 points from runner-up Fred Goldsworthy (18) with 38 points and a third place mention to Peter Palazzo (21) with 36 points.
Ball comp had 28 balls and 34 points on a countback or better collected.

Ladies 18 holes Friday Stableford: Winner was Ann Bowen (10) with 34 points from runner-up Carla Sherriff (24) on 32 points.

Medley Friday 9 holes Twilight: Winner was Chris Sharman (26) with 20 points from runner-up Tony Dal Corobbo (26) with 19 points.
Six balls in the ball comp and 15 points or better on a countback collected.
Medley Saturday Stroke Monthly Medal and daily comp was played on a warm breezy summer day with slick greens and some challenging pin placements saw scoring tough for the 164 players that finished.
There were four grades for the daily comp with the influx of visitors and three grades for the members monthly medal.
A Grade winner of the Medal went to Joe Rocca (5) with the round of the day with a fine 68 net from runner-up Wayne (Dobby) Gill (10) with 70 net and a third place mention to Peter Miatke (10) on 71 net.
B Grade winner daily comp was Andrew Stanbrook (12) for a venue voucher with 69 net from runner-up Terry Sparrow (14) with 72 net on a countback with Aaron Duck (11) also on 72 net.
C Grade winner and B Grade Medal was Garry Smart (17) with a 70 net from runner-up Ross Williams (19) with a 73 net and a third pace mention to Rod Trumen (19) with a 75 net.
D Grade winner and C Grade Medal was Don McConnell (28) with a net 70 from runner-up Darryle Oldham (34) with a net 72 and a third place mention to Bob Bettess (23) with 75 net.
There were 41 balls in the ball comp and 75 net or better on a countback collected.

Sunday was the Drummond Golf sponsored Stableford competition.
Winner was Matt Bottomley (4) with 39 points from runner-up Mark Luitjes (21) with 37 points on a countback from Damen Southgate (7) with 37 points.

There will be a club working bee on Sunday from 8.30am followed by a barbecue lunch. Please list your name in the golf shop if you are attending.
Saturday is the EZGO members day, with a barbecue from 5pm after golf followed by the daily presentations.
The Robinvale 4BBB Turkey Trot Day is on Saturday and there will be a bus organised for a road trip to Robinvale – see David Murray if you wish to enter and ride on the bus.
VETERANS
ON Monday 67 veteran golfers played the last event at the Mildura Golf Club for 2022. It was a single Stableford event and new captain, Ned Klemm, officially took over the reins for the first time.
The A grade winner was Keith Williams on 37 points from runner-up Geoff Cameron with 36 points with third placing going to Ross Bowen on 34 points.
In B Grade the winner was Greg Lee who scored 37 points from runner-up Tony Dal Corobbo on 33 points. In third on a countback was Kevin Jones.
The ball winners were Ned Klemm, John Pippin, Ron Hunt, Paul Booth, Ray Lyons, Wayne Innes,Terry Buckingham,John Green, Ivan McKenzie, Tom Wilkinson, Greg Butcher, Stan Prymble, Peter Gilmore, Lorey Rogers, Ferdi Bergaman, Bill Forrester, Ron Hall and Glenn Butterworth.
NTP winners were Ferdi Bergaman on the 2nd, Greg Rhodes on the 10th and Ivan McKenzie on the 12th.
The association welcomed four new members on the day. They were Paul Booth, Ron Hunt, Ivan McKenzie and Stan Prymke.

To Coomealla and Riverside Golf Club members – we have two competition days, Wednesday and Saturday, tee off from noon – this may change according to numbers that enter. Simply arrive at the club and put your name down, $10 competition fee and $10 green fees (reduced). We also run a 9 Friday night “twilight” comp that is not handicapped, tee off from 4.30pm ($10 for comp fee and you receive a $5 bar voucher – first prize is $50 meat tray).
We have summer memberships available at $125 which carries through to March 31, 2023, we are currently looking at an additional $50 on April 1 to continue through to end of August 2023.
Today is Stableford – tee off from noon; Friday is Twilight back 9 competition – commencing at 4.30pm – last tee off at 5.30pm.
Saturday is Stroke incorporating the Medallist of the Year playoff.
