Golf: Red Cliffs ladies lead outright in pennant

THE third round of Pennant was completed last weekend at the Merbein Golf Club with some outstanding results achieved.

After three rounds in the ladies division, Red Cliffs have moved to outright leaders on three points with Coomealla sitting second on two points.

In the men’s division 1 competition Coomealla have moved clear on top with three points with the remaining three teams all sitting on one point.

Men’s division 2 is developing into a very close competition and after the third round Merbein, Mildura One and Red Cliffs are all sitting on two points, closely followed by Mildura Two. Robinvale and Riverside were all sitting on 1.5 points.

Men’s division 3 has Mildura clear on three points with the remaining three teams all sitting on one point.

Ladies division:

Riverside Green defeated Riverside Gold 3/2

Red Cliffs defeated Coomealla 4/1 

Men’s division 1:

Coomealla defeated Red Cliffs 3/2

Riverside One defeated Riverside Two 3/2

Men’s division 2:

Merbein defeated Mildura Two 3/1

Robinvale defeated Riverside 4½ /½

Red Cliffs defeated Coomealla 3/2

Men’s division 3:

Riverside defeated Coomealla 5/0

Mildura defeated Red Cliffs 3/2
