A big thank you to all that attended the working bee on Sunday and it was great to see new and young faces attend to help out. The whole club appreciates your voluntary help. The Shed Company have commenced work on the new clubrooms.

Also a note to all members regarding the course condition –unfortunately both the fairway mower and the greens mower broke down. The good news is that we have sourced a brand new and bigger engine for the greens mower and, thanks to Graeme Dunne and the crew, will remove the old and install the new this week.

On Monday, February 28 a committee meeting was held and a decision is being sort on the borrowed fairways mower from the Riverside Golf Club (thanks to Timmy Peterson) – we will make a decision that best suits the club going forward and Gav will again be busy getting the fairways back into shape.

If anyone has any suggestions for the course please see vice president Peter Shadwick (Shaddy) to coordinate works if required.

The syllabus is being set, so we are asking for members who would like to have a “comp day” to see captain Paul Mulder to get details – we had a great response on Saturday with six members allocating their names to competitions this coming year.
