VETERANS
Sunraysia and District Victorian Veteran Golfers Association (S&DVVGA) members are also members of the Victorian Veteran Golfers Association.(VVGA). The VVGA co organises all of the states district associations and holds statewide events. John Robertson, the VVGA secretary, will join the next event at Riverside on Monday, June 7. He will compete in the single Stableford event before joining members later at the 19th hole. John will take the opportunity to share news about statewide initiatives and issues. This will include the creation of a new website that hopefully will be in operation later this year.
The association is organising a busy month, starting with the event at Riverside. The usual process will be in place so get there around 8.30am to complete your registration. Give the club a ring if you want to hire a cart.
Later in June, the Veterans are travelling to Ouyen to complete in a 4BBB stableford so you will need to organise a partner and a cart if necessary. There is a later start for this event of 10am to allow travel time. Registration will commence from 9.30am.
A reminder to members that to compete in the championship round in August you must have played twice before that day. There is only two rounds to go before then.
