VETERANS

WHEN the vets next meet at the Mildura Golf Club on December 7 it will be the last event for the 2020 calendar year and the start of our new season.

That means annual subscriptions are due and we will begin a new round of 12 district matches.

Current registered players will have their annual subscriptions fees waived as a way of thanking them for their support and in part to compensate for the rather disrupted year.

December is also our Christmas meeting and lunch will be a little festive.

As is the normal practice the association will take a summer break during January and February to avoid the hot weather. Our second round is held in March.

With the end of a very challenging year we expect to advance to Covid normal, that means we expect to return to our normal processes from now on.

Therefore player registration begins around 8.30am and players will be sent to their starting tees in time for a 9.30am shotgun start.

It is a single Stableford event with a nearest the pin competition on all par threes.

The cost will remain $20 for green fees, entry fees and lunch. Cart hire is available at the reduced cost of $20 dollars per player for a shared cart.

So come along and enjoy this seasons start before we take our break. New members are warmly invited to join us. See you there.
