VETERANS

OUR next round for the district veteran golfers is scheduled for November 9.

The Riverside Golf Club will be hosting us. With the course in excellent condition we are looking forward to having another very successful day.

It will be our rescheduled Championship event.

With the restrictions imposed by the COVID pandemic it has been necessary to alter the eligibility criteria for players this year.

Normally players would have to participate in two events prior to the championships.

This year that has been reduced to one meaning any player who has played in any round this year is able to participate.

Registration as always commences around 8.30am in readiness for a 9.30am start.

The $20 dollar fee covers green fees, entry fees and a lunch.

Carts are available for hire from the club at the reduced cost of $10 per player. With only 10 available, contact the club if you want one.

Nearest the Pins operate on all par threes. Drinks will be available from the club.

Following the game members are asked to remain for the Annual General Meeting.

Elections will be held for all executive positions and reports will be presented.

Our 2021 syllabus will be discussed and adopted.

As agreed at last year’s AGM there is a general consensus that it will be beneficial to have new people in leadership positions so please consider nominating.
