REIGNING Millewa Football Netball League senior premiers Bambill got their season off the mark, but not without a late scare, at Mildura Senior College on Saturday.

The Saints led by 32 points at the first break and it seemed like normal service had been resumed but Nangiloc bounced back mightily to fall only eight points short at the final siren.
