PLAYING in the opening South Australian National Football League round Saturday night fixture at The Parade, Norwood against the Redlegs, a North Adelaide recruit from Wentworth via Gold Coast, Oskar Faulkhead was rated by many good judges among the best three players on the ground, behind fellow interstate recruit Angus Schumacher and young ruckman Alex van Wyk.

Faulkhead finished his opening match with 23 disposals, (12 kicks and 11 handballs), along with a mark, an equal game-high eight tackles and a couple clearances.
