FORMER South Mildura player Sam Davidson will hope a recent trend will see him live out his AFL dream.

The 22-year-old had an outstanding season at VFL level for Richmond, leading the Tigers' goal kicking with 26 majors and earning the Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal in the process.
