NEW Merbein senior football coach Damien Hall is looking forward to the challenge of taking charge of the Magpies.

Boasting a successful playing and coaching resume, Hall has stepped up to the senior position, taking the reins from from Ilario Cavallo, after guiding the under-18 side to finals this year.
