SUFFERING ongoing concussion symptoms, Collingwood footballer and Merbein graduate Josh Carmichael will meet with the AFL's independent concussion panel in the coming weeks.

The 24-year-old explosive playmaker has not been able to train and was placed on the club's injury list with delayed concussion issues since his last VFL match in May.
