THE Nangiloc Football and Netball Club has made the "sad decision" to not run a women's football team this season, due to a shrinking pool of local women's football players.

Club president Cam Cox, who helped launch the women's team six years ago and also coached the side, said it was an unfortunate decision, but one that had to be made.

"We had seen it coming at the end of last year," he said.
