SUNRAYSIA footballers Josh Carmichael and Oskar Faulkhead's lives changed forever on Wednesday night when they were picked up in the AFL mid-season draft.

Former Merbein star midfielder Carmichael is bound for Collingwood after the Magpies took him at pick No.9.

Wentworth Roos product Faulkhead was taken at pick No.7 by the Gold Coast Suns.
