MERINGUR Football Netball Club is racing the clock to fill its playing ranks and avoid forfeiting games as the start of the 2022 football season approaches.

Club president Peter Mangan said the club had five weeks to double the number of footballers in its women's football side or it would be forced to forfeit the season.
