THE Cardross women's football team has named its new coach.

Former Cardross and Merbein footballer Brad Blaby has signed on to lead the two-time Sunraysia Women's Football League (SWFL) grand finalists.

Cardross had a difficult 2021 season, losing its head coach in May before Chelsea Humphrey took over as player-coach and the young squad finished outside finals contention.
