VAS Tuifao says there’s a “good vibe” at Tigerland ahead of his new coaching role with Red Cliffs in the SFNL. He says the COVID-enforced season off has meant he and his players will be more prepared for 2021. For now, he is enjoying the holiday season with partner Hannah Paletu’a and daughters Leila, 2, and newborn Maisy.

FOR Vas Tuifao, the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent SFNL season cancellation resulted in something of a “false start” for his football coaching career.

The popular New Zealand-born Red Cliffs utility, 26, had been named coach of his beloved Tigers in December last year following Brian Fenton’s departure from the club.
