WENTWORTH District Football Netball Club's second oval at George Gordon Reserve has been renamed Andrew Murdoch Oval in honour of the club's president.

The decision was officially ticked off by the Wentworth Shire Council at their meeting this week, acknowledging the hard work Murdoch had put into the new ground – entering its third season in 2020.
