FOLLOWING the destruction of 2022's flood has come new life with New South Wales' Fletchers Lake now teeming with birds, fish, and wildlife.
The lake, near Dareton, had remained dry since the 1970s until the Wentworth Shire made the decision to open the levee during the floods, allowing the water to rush in.
