WITH high flows in the Murray River continuing to recede, the Euston weir and Lock 15 are set to be reinstated this week.

A routine inspection conducted by WaterNSW identified minor damage to the weir structure, probably caused by flood debris.

While repairs continue, pumpers and river users may notice the river level drop below the usual level upstream of the weir this week.
