SWAN Hill's prime sheep and lamb sale went ahead on Thursday but buyers and sellers noticed low attendance and a decrease in quality.

In a statement, the Swan Hill Regional Livestock Exchange said agents offered a similar-sized yarding to a fortnight before with a "noticeable decrease in quality producing wintery types and smaller runs".
