DROUGHT has not dented farmland values or deterred prospective buyers from scouting properties in the Millewa.

Since October last year, about 10 dryland farming and grazing properties in the district have been sold, representing a combined land area of about 18,115 hectares.

In the past three to five years, land values have steadily increased between 10 and 20 per cent above previous levels.
