SUNRAYSIA table grape growers are pinning their hopes on a bumper crop this season.

Irymple South's Greg Milner, of Milner Grapes, started harvesting Thompson and crimson varieties last week and said "everything was looking pretty good".

He predicted exports would increase by 25 per cent from 80,000 to 100,000 boxes, with red globe grapes scheduled for picking at the end of March.
