AFTER more than 40 years of teaching in the Sunraysia district, Jeannette Doering will bid an emotional goodbye to the career that connected her to so many families, and changed the lives of so many students.

For the past week, Red Cliffs Primary School has been saying its farewells to Mrs Doering, who will retire on Wednesday after working at the school since 1988.
