Bringing light to Timor Leste kids’ lives

Transition Education students Nathan Herrington, Haymish Elliott-Blair, Ben Wilkinson together with SuniTAFE Teacher Ruth Tankard working on the Solar Buddy project.

CHILDREN in Timor Leste will soon receive 25 SolarBuddy lights thanks to SuniTAFE's Certificate I in Transition Education students.

The students recently completed a SolarBuddy project they planned, which involved sending lights to children living in energy poverty.

SolarBuddy is a global impact organisation that aims to illuminate the futures of all children experiencing energy poverty.
