The anxious wait for Year 12 students ended on Thursday when ATAR results were released, and many of Mildura's top-scoring students say they are surprised by their outstanding results.

Local Year 12s recently concluded their secondary schooling and receiving their results is the culmination of all their hard work throughout high school.
