IRYMPLE Secondary College has made national TV headlines in India after staff and students raised thousands of dollars to help feed a number of COVID-stricken communities on the subcontinent.

Indian-born maths teacher Sunita Kalkal started the helping hand after seeing the recent devastation caused by COVID-19 in her former homeland.
