STUDENTS from Gol Gol and Wentworth public schools got out and about learning about the importance of Murray and Darling river ecosystems when a three-year education program was launched this week.

The Stronger Country Communities initiative, run by Petaurus Education Group, focuses on youth leadership in Wentworth Shire and will include all the shire's schools over its three-year path.
