HEALTHY life just got a boost at Nichols Point Primary School.

The school has received a Sporting Schools grant to help foster physical literacy -- the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to lead a healthy life -- in students.

The $10,000 grant gives scope for a renewed focus on holistic wellbeing programs and getting students into community sport.
