STUDENTS across Sunraysia returned to school on Tuesday for the first time in months in the first phase of Victoria's return to classroom-based learning.

From Tuesday, Prep, Grade 1, Grade 2, Year 11 and Year 12 students returned to classrooms.

Students from Grade 3 to Year 10 will continue remote learning until June 9.
