THE Mildura and District ALP branch has a new president and plan of attack for the next 12 months.

Jenny Gibbons joined Labor in 1976 and was recently elected to replace Peter Byrne as president.

After taking on a variety of roles over her time with the branch, Ms Gibbons said her presidency would be a good opportunity to strengthen the group and its members over the next year.
