Sunraysia squad selected

SUNRAYSIA Cricket Association has named its side to tackle Melbourne Country Week.

Playing coach Adam Thomson leads a 12-man squad to take on the annual Victorian Country Cricket League tournament as they aim to take glory in division 2.

Their fixture begins next Monday, February 10, when they face Wangaratta, before subsequent games against Mornington Peninsula, Hamilton and Maryborough before the finals.

Thomson and Than Rajapakse join the team from ladder leaders Gol Gol, while fellow experienced campaigners Jason Morrison, Luke Stanbrook (both Mildura Settlers) and Shaun Mathews (Nichols Point) will lead from the front.
