THE lower grades of Red Cliffs Cricket Association rarely make the news, but the eye-catching performance of Tempy’s B grade team on Saturday couldn’t be ignored.
In a one-day clash against South West, Tempy belted up a score of 5/401 in their allotted 35 overs, a run rate of 11.46 per over.
Darcy Cresp top scored with 142 off 100 balls for Tempy, bettering his previous best for the season of 15, while Tyson Monaghan belted a stunning 13 sixes and 12 fours in his knock of 141 off 82 balls.
