WORKERS Gol Gol are missing some big names for the post-Christmas Sunraysia Cricket Association opener.

The top side travels to second-placed Irymple minus the likes of Nick Jensen, Muhammad Haidry and Simon Groves.

Michael Andison has been named to make his First Division debut for the club with Ben McPhee and Tyson Adamson also in.

Last season’s runners-up have been the form team of the competition across the first half of the season, not losing a game since a shock loss to Coomealla Wentworth in round 1.

Irymple have kept pace, with their only loss coming in round 3 against today’s opponents. 

The Swallows’ line-up is as solid as ever, with Nick Giofre back after missing the pre-Christmas round to take the gloves back off former skipper Jordan Payne.

Wade Minter also returns at the expense of young spinner Jack Baird.

Today’s matches are double-header Twenty20s, with Irymple hosting Mildura West and Workers Gol Gol playing away to Mildura East in their respective second games.
