SUNRAYSIA Cricket Association senior round 1 matches will proceed on a ground-by-ground basis today.
All junior grades except under 14 Division 2 can proceed if the grounds are safe.
Under 14 Division 2 matches have been abandoned due to unsafe conditions.
Overnight, round 1 of the women’s competition was cancelled.
The SCA’s adverse conditions committee inspected grounds yesterday when making the decision on today’s play.
The Red Cliffs Cricket Association will also proceed on a ground-by-ground basis, with Nursery Ridge’s Onion Patch the only ground ruled out as of yesterday. That match was to host the Nursery Ridge v South West A Grade game.
