Sunraysia under-13 cricketers share honours

SUNRAYSIA’S under-13 representative cricketers split the honours with Swan Hill last week in two unofficial games.

In their first match-up, Sunraysia 6/125 defeated Swan Hill 6/116.

Mildura West’s Taj Hill took 2/15 and Irymple’s Jack Barker 2/11 while with the bat Hill scored an unbeaten 50 and Nichols Point’s Lewis Dichiera made 17.

Swan Hill turned the tables in game two, making 136 and bowling Sunraysia out for 80.

Merbein South’s Angus Smith took 3/14, Workers Gol Gol’s Oscar Tiley claimed 2/16 and West’s Josh Driscoll snared 2/17.

With the bat, Settlers’ Monty Maloney made 13 and Workers Gol Gol’s Charlie Vandenberg scored 20 not out.
