Junior Player of the Week: Wickets come against the tide

IN a week when the bat dominated, Mildura West Sunraysia Cricket Association Under 14 Division 1 bowler Jack Livingstone stood out with the ball.

Livingstone took 3/15 from six overs against Nichols Point at the weekend on a day when the Pointers bats were certainly on top on their home patch.

The hosts were bowled out for 230 from 48.1 overs but it could have been a lot more if not for Livingstone’s efforts.

The haul was a career-best for Livingstone.

Mildura West are fifth on the under-14 ladder with one win and three losses to date.

As the Sportspower Mildura Juniors Player of the Week, Livingstone receives a $20 voucher from Mildura Sportspower in recognition of his performance.
