Juniors Player of the Week: Rothe fires for Pointers

NICHOLS Point under-14 Division 2 bowler Darcy Rothe is the Sportspower Mildura Juniors Player of the Week.

In a short and sharp spell at the weekend against Workers Gol Gol Rothe took 4/5, helping his side to a 39-run win.

The haul takes Rothe to six wickets for the season across both under 14 grades, while he’s also been handy with the bat – yet to be dismissed in three innings with a top score of 17.

Rothe receives a $20 voucher from Mildura Sportspower in recognition of his performance.
