NICHOLS Point’s Lewis Dichiera is one of the Sunraysia Cricket Association’s (SCA) emerging young stars.
The talented all-rounder has enjoyed a great start to the season.
Playing in the under 14 Division 1 competition, Dichiera was last week’s Mildura Sportspower junior Player of the Week.
Dichiera enjoyed a great day with bat and ball, scoring 26 and capturing 3/13, including a hat-trick.
He is also a regular representative player with the SCA and looks destined for a bright future.
The round 1 Player of the Week was Mildura West’s Jack Probert, who also plays in the under 14 competition.
Probert finished with the impressive figures of 3/7 against Merbein South.
Both players receive a $20 gift voucher from Mildura Sportspower as part of their award.
