New Mildura COVID-19 case numbers rise

MILDURA reported another 120 new confirmed or probable COVID-19 cases on Thursday.

The Robinvale postcode, outside the Mildura local government area, reported another 17 cases and on Thursday had an active-case total of 61. There were 624 active cases in the Mildura LGA.

Across Victoria, the number of new cases was 9391. Sixteen Victorian COVID patients lost their lives.

In NSW, another 24 people died and the State Government there announced it would change hospital guidelines to make it easier for loved ones to visit dying patients.
