Mildura case numbers continue to surge

MILDURA has recorded a further 38 new COVID-19 cases to add to the record daily high of 53 positive cases on Tuesday.

The Local Government Area now has 183 current active cases as the region’s total number of cases since the pandemic nears 1000.

Mildura has had a total 946 cases, while Swan Hill Rural City Council’s active case number rose by 28 on Wednesday, to take its number of active cases to 59.

Robinvale recorded a further 16 new cases on Wednesday to take that town’s current active cases to 25.

Across the border in New South Wales, the Wentworth Shire Council area had 24 new cases to 8pm Tuesday.
