Victoria’s COVID-19 restrictions: What’s changed

THE rules in Melbourne and regional Victoria will align and there will be no ban on travel between city and country, or between regional areas.

All retail outlets can open. Venues such as pubs, restaurants and cafes can have up to 500 fully vaccinated patrons outside and a density limit of one person per 4 sq m inside.

Outside gatherings can include up to 30 people, an increase of 15. The number of people allowed at home gatherings remains capped at 10.

Weddings, funerals and religious services will return to the 4 sq m density limit indoors for fully vaccinated patrons, and 500 people outside.

Masks will no longer be required outdoors.

Students from every year level will return to full-time face-to-face learning on Monday.
