Mildura Working Man’s Club joins tier 1 sites

A NEW tier 1 exposure site has been listed in Mildura as 10 new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Tuesday.

Mildura Working Man’s Club is now listed on the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) website after a case attended the venue’s gaming room last Friday from 9.30am to noon and 4pm to 5.45pm.

Also on Friday, a COVID-positive person was at Lime Avenue’s F45 Training Mildura from 4.45am to 6.15am.

PRD Real Estate Mildura was an exposure site from October 18 to 22 from 8am to 6pm.

Anyone who visited the sites at these times must get tested immediately and people who are fully vaccinated must self-isolate for seven days from exposure (14 days for everyone else).

Mildura Central Early Learning has not been officially listed in the DHHS tier 1 exposure sites but an email was sent to parents and staff at the weekend after a COVID-positive child attended the centre last week.

The email advised that the centre would be closed for deep cleaning and those exposed would need to get tested and isolate.

Mildura had 199 active cases on Tuesday and a total of 326 recorded cases.

Across Victoria, 1510 new cases were reported and four deaths.
