SEVERAL long-running Easter activities at the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens have joined the list of cancelled events in Sunraysia.
The decision comes amid fears of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and instructions from the Federal Government to ban gatherings of more than 500 people.
The annual Magenta Artists Art and Photography Show scheduled for the Easter long weekend has been cancelled, as has the Big Brekkie and Market.
The event traditionally features works from artists and photographers from across Australia and was entering its 10th year.
A two-day pastel workshop with Amanda McLean scheduled for April 8-9 has also been cancelled.
These events are used to fundraise for the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens.
