A MILDURA VICSES volunteer has been recognised for his dedication to the organisation as part of the 50th anniversary of service to the state.

The Civil Defence Organisation which formed in 1950 evolved into VICSES on March 5, 1975 and has a lead and critical role in managing floods, storms and rescues, and supporting other emergency services.
