THE full cost of a fire service for the Dareton Men in a Shed Group will be paid by Wentworth Shire despite a recommendation ratepayers contribute only the outstanding amount.

The shed, which was officially opened in April last year, sought $104,000 to complete the $204,000 fire service cost, with a council-facilitated Federal Government grant having already contributed $100,000.
