THE president of the Astronomical Society Victoria visited Mildura on the weekend to help plan an event aiming to spark interest in space sciences among young people in the region.

Organised in partnership with the local Oasis Stargazers Mildura Club, the event is planned for the Sunraysia Gliding Club airfield over the Anzac Day long weekend.
