HUNDREDS of people attended Mildura’s Australia Day event to celebrate the community and recognise the contributions of local volunteers.

Held at Nowingi Place, the event featured live music, a flag-raising ceremony, an awards presentation, and volunteers on the barbecue serving free bacon and egg sandwiches.
